History says, Parsis/Zoroastrians migrated from Persia to India due to religious persecution between 8th and 10th century. The very reason for their fleeing their native land was survival instinct. Maybe it’s because of that, they make a close-knit society/community, following endogamy very strictly. In an open and accepting India, though they were safe and secure, the rule of endogamy among them was (and to some extent is) very rigid and uncompromising.
This is brought out through a very subtle and heartwarming love story. The entire story is interwoven with emotions of romance, affection , compassion, selfishness, and vengeance, where waves of music flow like an undercurrent.
