Bengaluru, India — In a proud moment for Mangaluru and advocates of value-based education nationwide, young author and orator Reshel Bretny Fernandes officially released her debut book Light of Education Brightens World at a special ceremony held recently in Bengaluru.
Published by Tanisha Publications, New Delhi, the book emphasizes the transformative power of education in shaping an enlightened, progressive society. In her first literary work, Fernandes passionately explores the deeper essence of education—not merely as the acquisition of knowledge, but as a tool for community upliftment and national development.
The ceremonial launch was graced by Dr. Rupa Vasudevan, chancellor of Bharatiya Engineering Science and Technology Innovation University, Andhra Pradesh, and honorary trustee of Disha Bharat, Bengaluru. Unveiling the book, Dr. Vasudevan praised the young author’s insightful vision.
“Reshel’s thoughts resonate with our mission of building a better India through innovative and value-based education,” she said. “Her work is a reminder that even the youngest voices can inspire a national movement toward purposeful learning.”
The event drew educators, dignitaries, and supporters from Mangaluru and beyond, celebrating Fernandes’s achievement and her growing role as a voice for youth-driven educational reform. Her book contributes to the broader dialogue on making education a force for social good—rooted in tradition, guided by values, and focused on nation-building.
